These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Cinute InfoMedia, the sole proprietorship that operates Massthread. They govern your access to and use of Massthread (the “Service”). Please read them before you create an account.
1. Who we are
Massthread is a product of Cinute InfoMedia, a sole proprietorship of Sandeep Maske, with its place of business at Office #3, 2nd Floor, Ashley Tower, Kanakia Road, Vagad Nagar, Beverly Park, Mira Road East, Mira Bhayandar, Mumbai 401107, Maharashtra, India.
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Cinute InfoMedia. “You” means the person or organisation using the Service. You can reach us at tech@massthread.com.
2. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, ticking a box that says you agree, or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
If you use Massthread on behalf of a company, agency or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” means that organisation as well as you personally.
3. Who may use Massthread
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Massthread is a business tool. It is not designed or intended for children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of India or of the country you are in.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the information you give us, for keeping your password and two-factor codes confidential, and for everything that happens under your account — including what the teammates you invite do. Tell us promptly at tech@massthread.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
A workspace has an owner. The owner controls billing, can invite and remove members, and can delete the workspace and everything in it. If you invite someone to your workspace, you are responsible for what they do there.
5. Plans, billing and taxes
What each plan costs and includes is published on our pricing page inside the Service. Paid plans are subscriptions: they renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
If we offer a free trial, its length and its conditions are shown to you before you start it. Unless we say otherwise at that moment, a trial converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
Payments are collected by our payment provider. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for the plan you selected and for any applicable taxes, on each renewal, until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping your payment details current. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise; where Indian GST or an equivalent foreign tax applies, it is added at checkout or shown on your invoice.
We may change our prices. If a change affects a subscription you already have, we will tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you may cancel before then.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.
30-day refund. If you are not satisfied, write to tech@massthread.com within 30 days of the first payment on a new paid subscription and we will refund that payment in full.
After those first 30 days we do not refund the current period or any renewal, and we do not refund unused time on a cancelled plan. If we suspend or terminate your account because you broke these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund. Nothing here takes away a right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
7. The accounts you connect
Massthread publishes on your behalf to third-party platforms that you connect, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Reddit, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Blogger, Hashnode, WordPress, Telegram and Discord. Those platforms are not ours and are not part of the Service.
You must own or be authorised to manage every account you connect, and you must follow each platform’s own terms and policies. Your use of a platform is governed by that platform’s agreement with you, not by these Terms.
We cannot guarantee that any particular integration will be available. Platforms change, restrict or withdraw their APIs, and some require an approval that they may grant, delay or refuse. An integration may therefore be unavailable, limited, or removed at any time, and we may need to change how a feature works. Where a platform does not allow automated publishing, Massthread may instead prepare the post and notify you to publish it yourself.
You can disconnect an account at any time from inside the Service. A platform may also revoke our access, in which case scheduled posts for that account will not be published.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Massthread to:
- publish anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or deceptive, or anything that impersonates another person or organisation;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or e-mail people who have not consented to hear from you;
- run coordinated inauthentic activity, engagement farming or any practice a connected platform forbids;
- publish content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy;
- upload or distribute malware, or attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the Service or anyone else’s account or data;
- evade our rate limits, plan limits, security controls or usage metering, or share one account among people who should each have their own;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service, or use it to build a directly competing product;
- use the Service in a way that puts us in breach of a platform’s terms or of any law.
You are responsible for everything published through your account, including content that Massthread generated and you approved. We do not review your content before it goes out.
9. AI-generated content
Massthread uses artificial intelligence to plan, draft and check content. AI output can be wrong, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your brand, and it may unintentionally resemble existing material. Any automated quality or brand-safety check we provide is an aid, not a guarantee.
You decide what gets published. Massthread is built so that a person reviews and approves content before it is scheduled. You are responsible for checking accuracy, claims, rights and compliance before you approve anything, and for the consequences of what you publish.
We do not use your content to train shared or third-party AI models. How your data is processed, and by which providers, is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload to, generate in, or publish through Massthread (“Your Content”). You confirm that you have the rights you need in Your Content.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, display and adapt Your Content only as far as we need to in order to run the Service for you: to generate drafts when you ask, to schedule and publish posts to the accounts you connect, to read back the performance of those posts, to keep backups, and to provide support when you ask for it. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies in routine backups, which are deleted on the schedule set out in the Privacy Policy.
You can export your content from inside the Service. After your account is closed we may permanently delete Your Content; do not rely on us as your only copy.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — the software, interface, design, the Massthread name and logo, our documentation, templates and prompts — belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose while your subscription is active. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or bug reports, we may use them to improve the Service without owing you anything for them.
12. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep Massthread available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, for reasons outside our control, or because a third-party platform or provider is down. We do not currently offer a service-level agreement.
We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, or make a change that significantly reduces what your plan gives you, we will tell you by e-mail in advance where we reasonably can, and you may cancel.
Some features may be labelled beta, preview or early access. Those are provided as they are, may change or disappear, and should not be relied on for anything critical.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and close your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if your payment is overdue, if your use creates a security, legal or reputational risk, or if we are required to by law or by a platform we depend on.
Where it is safe and practical, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. For serious breaches — for example illegal content, spam, or an attack on the Service — we may suspend immediately and without notice.
When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends with it. We will keep your content available for export for 30 days after termination, unless the law or a serious breach requires otherwise, and then we may delete it.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we give no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
In particular, we do not promise that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, that AI output will be accurate or suitable, that any connected platform will accept or keep a post, or that using Massthread will produce any particular reach, engagement or business result.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost reputation or lost business opportunity, even if told such losses were possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, losses and reasonable costs brought by a third party and arising from content you published through the Service, your breach of these Terms or of applicable law, or your breach of a connected platform’s terms. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it without your agreement, which you will not withhold unreasonably.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the Service, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the consumer-protection law of the country you live in gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere that cannot be waived.
Before starting formal proceedings, please write to tech@massthread.com so we can try to resolve the matter with you directly.
18. Other terms
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will change the version and date at the top, and for changes that materially affect your rights we will e-mail account owners before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means the updated Terms apply to you.
- The whole agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service, and replace anything said before.
- If a clause fails. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a successor of the business, and will tell you if we do.
- Force majeure. Neither party is responsible for failing to perform because of something genuinely beyond its reasonable control.
19. Contact and complaints
For anything about these Terms, your account, billing or a refund, write to tech@massthread.com. We aim to reply within three business days.
For questions about your personal data, your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or to reach our grievance contact, see our Privacy Policy and our DPDP compliance notice.
